My sincere and heartfelt condolences go out to the entire Dismont family during this difficult time. Aunt Joan as she was lovingly known was a beautiful person, full of vigor and life. She loved to dance and as a member of PCC line dancers put many of the younger members to shame. Her joyful zest for life was all inspiring. She will be missed. Family, my prayers are with you as you say good bye to your mother, sister, grandmother and aunt. Aunt Joan's work here is done and she has transitioned on to a better place. 'Keep the Faith' and her memory alive. Always remember that Earth has no sorrow that Heaven cannot heal.'
Much love,
From Julianna Stovell & Family

Sonia, Kari, and Michelle,
We are so sorry for your loss. Your mom was very beautiful and kindhearted.
My husband and I have so many cherished memories of her over the years. She was always there with a big smile, a song, and ready to go out with us and have a great time. She was the life of the party and oh how she loved to dress.
This is such a difficult time as she will be missed dearly. I pray each of you are comforted by the many precious memories you have created. I know there were a lot. Family meant everything to Joan, each of you were very special to her in your own right. I believe she will live on through you as your guardian angel. She will always be there with you as we know a mother's love will never die. We wish you peace, comfort and courage as we extend our deepest condolences to you and your family.

It is with such sadness that I send these condolences to Michelle, Sonia and God- daughter Kari, as well as the extended Dismont/ Smith family on the transition of Aunt Joan.
So many memories crowd my mind as Aunt Joan was a fixture in my entire life, along with Uncle Roy, my godfather. Such a vibrant lady, she personified "joie de vivre". so active with her walks for charity, her love and talent for dancing and singing, and her laughter. She always had a funny story to tell and it is hard to remember a time when she didn't have a smile in her face.
It pains me that I cannot be there to pay my last respects and to offer my support to the family during this difficult and sorrowful time.
It is a source of some comfort to think that she is now happily reunited with both her beloved Roys.
