To Joan's family and loved ones, my deepest sympathies. Because I've been in and out of the country, I hadn't known of Joan's passing until today. I have such fond memories of her during the early years of the RAPE Crisis Center, now the Women's Resource Center. Small in stature but a giant in spirit.
