John Perry Adcock

Funeral service for John Perry Adcock, 67, will be Monday, December 1, 2014, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Steve Bateman and Rev. Jeff Montegudo officiating. Burial will be in Salem Cemetery. Visitation will be tonight, November 30, 2014, from 6 to 8 at the funeral home.

Mr. Adcock died on Thursday, November 27, 2014, at Decatur Morgan Hospital. He was born December 5, 1946, in Morgan County, to Cecil Elbert Adcock and Eleanor Anders Adcock. He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Wreath Holmes. He was a master gardener and was employed by Cooks Pest Control for 25 years.

Survivors include two sons;

Lance Adcock (Jennifer), Jonas Thomas, both of Hartselle; one brother,

Charles Adcock (Linda), Panama City, Florida; three sisters, Sylvia Kamp (Marvin), Tampa, Florida,

Gail Sandlin (Ed), Athens,

Liz Clark (Billy), Priceville;

and one grandchild, Alison Eddy.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.

SORRY TO HEAR OF PERRYS PASSING-WE HAVE BEEN FRIENDS FOR A LONG TIME-WE HAD A LONG VISIT RECENTLY WHILE WE WERE BOTH UNDERGOING INFUSIONS AT CLEARVIEW CANCER-MY DEEPEST CONDOLENCES TO THE FAMILY.

2013 for Halloween he was a Lowe's Employee!! :)

We are so sorry to learn of Perry's passing. We at Lowes's Decatur Garden Center came to love him and always enjoyed his frequent visits. He was a wonderful horticulturist and his love of beauty was apparent in his joy of plants and flowers. We will miss him.
