We are deeply saddened to learn of John's passing.
It was a privilege to know him,his late wife Jenna, and the twins Bryson and Savannah for many years as tenants and friends.
A super guy,a devoted husband and father, and the loving head of a family cherished by our entire neighborhood. In fact, one of Bermuda's best.
Our heartfelt sympathy goes out to all of John's family and friends.

Calista and family
I'm really sorry to hear about the passing of John. He had such a kind heart. He'd always make time to have long and upbeat conversations and I remember five years ago chatting to him about his health for an extended period of time. He will be missed by many and we hope that the all his close relatives and friends have the support they need at this time. Love to you.

To The Martin Family
I am so so sorry to hear this sad news. John was such a great guy. We loved going out with him on Harrington Sound. He taught my kids much more than wakeboarding/surfing. . . He gave them confidence, independence and self resilience. Some of our favorite summer memories feature John, Jenna the kids & even Bernard.
John passed on a love and passion of the water and wakeboarding to a generation of Bermuda´s kids.
Our heart and thoughts are with you all - especially Bryson and Savie. Loads of love.

I sailed with John from Cadiz to Bermuda back in 2000. We´ve lost touch over the years, but he was always a friendly face when we saw each other in Bermuda and he remains one of my most memorable friends from an amazing period of my life. I´ll miss him terribly.

Dear Calista
I am so very sorry for the loss of your youngest sibling John. Very sad. Devastating for the twins but I know you are doing your very best bringing them up with your loving care. I think I shared with you that my sister, and your Godmother, Jennifer called you a Star! I send my heartfelt condolences to you, your father, John´s children, your sisters and all his nieces and nephews. You are all very much in my thoughts and prayers. Love Martha-Jane
