JOSE PAIVA Obituary
We are saddened to announce the passing of JOSÉ BRANDAO PAIVA on May 5th, 2025. Born in the Azores on July 11th, 1956, he is survived by his son Nelson (Cheryl); daughter Michelle; grandchildren Noella and James; sisters Maria de Fatima Pavao (Manuel), late Roslyn Pimentel (Manuel), Maria de Deus Paquette (late Fernando), Giselda da Conceição Martins (Manuel); brother João de Deus Paiva (Teresa); and many beloved nieces, nephews, family, and friends. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in his memory to the Bermuda SPCA.José was loved dearly by all who knew him, and we will fondly remember the time we shared with him. Whether spending time with family and friends, or tending to his cabras, he will be deeply missed. Sempre em nossos corações.A memorial service will be held TODAY, Wednesday, May 14th at 2.00pm at St Anthony's Church. Burial will follow at St Mark's Church, Cemetery. Sending my sincere condolence and prayers to the family and friends of Mr. Paiva, I have come to know Mr. Paiva as a frequent customer of South Shore Warwick Gas station and will remember his calm demeanor each time I saw him.
