Karen was beautiful in and out. Her radiant smile & great personality went hand in hand. We were all blessed to have known her.
May God draw near to all to bring you strength & comfort in the days & weeks to come. Cherish the memories as they will sustain you.
Remember we do not mourn with out the Hope in the coming of the Lord, there will be a great getting up morning, when the dead will rise from their slumbering place, and meet Jesus face to face. Hold on to that Hope family.

Tamae and Ziara, it will be the little things that you two will remember- the quiet moments, the smiles, the laughter. Even though it seems hard right now, it will be the memory of those little things that help to push away the pain and bring the smile back again...and I know you all will smile again..because she would want you two to do just that. Soooo sad to hear about Karens passing. Karen was always very kind hearted, loving and pleasant from school days at Whitney, which she remained the same. she was always a role model to many. Tamae and Ziara continue to cherish the memories, and know that your mom adored you both. I extend my deepest sympathy to you and all of your mother's family and friends, Karen was a Beautiful Soul, a very genuine dear friend of mines since working together over 38 yrs ago, we remained good friends and always in touch with one another, I'm extremely grateful for our frienship, she will be missed dearly, her spirit will live on in our hearts. Karen cherish her daughters a great deal and every time we met up in Hamilton she spoke about her daughters with so much pride. I am deeply sadden to hear about the passing of Karen, she was such a sweet and kind individual. I will miss our chats about the early years. Karen was a true and kind friend, with a genuine personality.

My sincere condolences to the family.
I enjoyed working with Karen at Butterfield. She had such a beautiful spirit. I remember she was always baking something amazing; pies or hot crossed buns. Even years after I left, I was still getting baking advice from her for Easter! What I remember most was how much she bragged of her daughters. She lived for her daughters. Karen was a wonderful woman and mother. Timae and Ziara, you made her so proud.
