Karen was a God fearing woman and I know that at the very end she prayed and asked God to take care of her family. Karen and I have been friends for over 20 years. It's been a week now and I still can't fathom this tragic news. I'm sending my sincere condolences to you, Azaria, Ambya, and all Karen's other relatives and wide circle of friends and colleagues.
My time in Bermuda was made all the more special because of warm and welcoming souls like Karen (whom I met through her cousin Bertha). I will always remember her bubbly personality, her radiant smile and her kindness. She was beautiful inside and out.
Karen soars with the angels now but may the collective memories of her remain with you and other loved ones forevermore, brightening the tough days ahead, and may her spirit dwell among us all as long as we live.
