I have many happy memories of when Neil and my late husband, Jimmy played football together in the late sixties and seventies. He was a lovely man and a good friend to both Jimmy and I. We were always delighted to see him whenever we returned to Bermuda and were honoured to be invited to his son's wedding which took place when we were on the island on holiday. My thoughts are with the family and I hope your special memories are a comfort in the days to come. Love to you all. Pauline Copeland.

Sharil, Neil Jr. Sharneil and family:
I am deeply saddened to read of Neil's passing. Please accept my sincere and heartfelt condolences for the passing of your loved one.
I was born in St. Georges in my grandmother's home less than a stone throw away ( up the embankment ) from Neil's family home in Wellington St. Georges.
Neil, his brother Lynn and their friends became my buddies whenever I visited St. Georges from Somerset during the summers and holidays.
Neil had a very pleasant personality, he was always the same, armed with a very keen sense of humour he loved a laugh.
Neil had his health challenges, he was a valiant fighter he did not give in, he loved life, he was a warrior.
I enjoyed running into him and talking about old times, I'm smiling as I'm typing this, we had good memories.
Sharil you married a good man and I'm sure he was a great father.
My wish for you and your family is that you will be continually surrounded by the love of family and friends during this difficult time, and that you will all find a sense of comfort as you grieve.
Take care and may peace and blessings abound.
Rest Easy my friend.

Aunt Sharil, Neil jr, Andre, Barbara Ann, Sharneil, I extend my deepest condolences to you and your family. Neil treated me and my siblings as if we were his own, he was one of my parents nearest and dearest friends, our families connected for as long as I can remember. Do know that I too feel the pain of your loss, as I'm sure many others do, such was Neils affect on the many lives he touched. Bermuda, and in particular his beloved St George's has truly lost one of our best !! I can honestly say that I personally have been blessed having known such a great man, may G_D give you peace, comfort and understanding during this difficult time.
