I last saw Pop not too long ago just outside Govt. Admin building. We talked about me having lost my mom in July of last year and he was so kind and encouraging. I was saddened to hear of his passing, however as expected, the White Hill and larger community definitely celebrated his life! May Pop Rest in Peace and may God comfort his wife and family.
Sincerely,

Paula Tucker(Sandys)

Our heartfelt condolences to the entire Simmons Family & friends.
'Pop' was such a blessing to you and so many others. He had a contagious spirit that embraced everyone and he wanted the best for all.
Always so happy and welcoming and would say to me whenever I went to one of his shows that it has been years since he had seen this 'White Hill girl'.
Pop may you SIP.

Pops"Kenneth Simmons" I and many of your friends and family were so disheartened on hearing that you passed. When my brother Wayne reinforced the news, I pictured Pops and the close friends of the Sandy's Secondary days, laughing, debating and always mindful of what's best for Bermuda. I remembered the day, when you shared of your retirement from BHB that week in February 2023. You asked why the BHB wanted its workers to retire at age 65 when they still wanted to work. In my opinion, Pops was one of BPSU's best BHB shop stewards, as Pops always acted on principle and unselfishly, on ensuring that his follow workers' rights were upheld. Pops, you will always be larger than life, as your acts of love for everyone lives on.

Our heartfelt condolences from Colin Simmons (Princess Hotel) and family, my dad was taken back by his passing but understands God's plan. Pops shared a story at my dads 75th about why he calls my dad Pepper Sauce and the kids and grandkids have carried on the nickname occasionally. He worked with my dad at Princess and that was his buddy... I remember Pops always had the biggest smile... my dad will miss his friend. Pray comfort to his wife, daughter and family. Colin Simmons and family.

To my brother from another mother, we had lots of great times together-we were 'Salt & Pepper', the nickname you gave us. We had great times on our family vacations, great conversations about sports, politics, our jobs. I'll never forget the help you gave me when I needed advice in my early refrigeration tech years. We had lots of laughs over the years.

We will all miss you Pepper, coming from your friend Salt. R. I. P.
