The family of LEILA JEANETTE ROBINSON (NEE JOELL) are sad to announce her sudden passing at home in Detroit, MI on April 28th, 2024.A Memorial Service will take place on Thursday, June 6th, 2024 at 6.00pm at the Midland Heights Seventh-day Adventist Church, Hamilton Parish.Leila is survived by her children Russell Cordell Robinson (Debbie), Tammy Robinson, Dana Lovell (Dana), Kathy Robinson, Kevin Robinson and Karena Robinson; her grandchildren Jamar (Dayna), Russell, Ryan, Erin, Camily, Brandon, Trae, Ashley, Devin, and Amaya; great grandchildren Brandon and Braylin; siblings Melvin Joell, Linda Smith (Kelson), Sharon Barnes (Luther), Carol Ramirez (Romano), Alan Joell, Judith-Ann Chambers, Paul Joell, Dorinne Simmons and Lorinne Viera (Mark); Russell Robinson (father of the children); special cousins Patricia Ford and Junette Lightbourne; special friend Minola 'Noie' Douglas; goddaughter Deana Ingham; godson, Andre Godfrey; honorary granddaughter in Detroit, Talea Jackson, and a host of other family and friends. Leila was predeceased by her parents Wesley Joell and Olive (Joell) Foote (nee Trott), and siblings Gilbert Joell (Betty), Dennis Joell, and Leon and Tyrone Seymour.
