Just knew Leroy from catching the bus but he will be remembered for his very pleasant demeanour. One could tell that he had a gentle spirit. You were all very blessed to have had the privilege to know him well. May he RIP!

Helen,
My heart sunk when I learned of the passing of your dear husband Leroy. It brought back memories when I experienced the loss of mine. As the days, weeks, months and years pass, in time we learn to live with the emptiness of not having his physical presence. Hope you can take some comfort in knowing that Leroy will always be beside you in spirit and will look over you as you return to the routine of life's journey.

I'd just like to express my condolences to you,Leroy Jr.,Austin(Assim) and the rest of the Burgess's and the Butterfield families.
I got to know him fairly well on my visits whether on the bus or at family gatherings he was always warm and polite.He would always make sure when riding his bus he was Cousin Leroy(Helen's husband) if I did not recognize him.
So so sorry for your huge loss.

Aunt Helen and the entire family, I was so shocked and saddened to learn of the passing of your hubby/father/grandfather/brother/Uncle. He will forever be in my heart as Uncle Leroy. He was such a gentle and loving guy in his soft spoken manner and displayed much respect to all.
