A home-going service for Mr. Leroy Vincent Proctor, son of the late Albertha Richardson (nee Proctor) and the late Cyril Roberts; and step-son of the late Cecil Richardson; father of Laverne and Gregory (Heidi) Proctor, Joanne Simons (Sinclair), Lucinda Robinson-Hall (Samuel), and Vincent Thigpen; in his 77th year, of #31 Alexandra Road, Prospect, Devonshire will be held at St. Theresa'''s Cathedral, 13 Elliott Street, Hamilton, HM 09 today, Saturday, July 9th, 2011 at 1.00p.m. Interment will follow at St. Joseph'''s Roman Catholic Church, 42 Somerset Road, Sandys, MA 03. Relatives and friends may pay their last respects at Augustus Funeral Home TODAY, Saturday, July 9th, 2011 from 12.00p.m. - 12.45p.m. Flowers may be sent. Also surviving are brothers Edwin Richardson (Smokey), Ishmael Israel (Laurence Richardson- Beebs), Ashley Roberts (Rose) Missouri, Allan Roberts (Theresa) Dominican Republic, Winston Roberts - Vince (Alison), and the late Clifford Roberts; sisters Edith Williams (nee Roberts) - New York, and Gloria Roberts; mothers of the children Delores Proctor and Barbara Thigpen; grandchildren Deandre Michelle Proctor, Jahmal (Lavinia), Joshua (Wolette) and Jatia Simons, David and Naomi Proctor, Matthew Posey, Darien Handy and Elijah Bowes-Thigpen; great-grandchildren Jelani, Jabari and Rain Simons; special nephew to the late Nathan (Knox) Proctor; he was also pre-deceased by all other aunts and uncles; special cousin to Kenneth, Myra, Ann, Carl, Pearl and Vincent Hunt and their families, Dennis Proctor (New York), Delphine Walker and family (Maryland and Boston); cousin to the families of the Proctors, Bremars, Hassells, Hazels, Hunts and Roberts; sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews both here and abroad; long-time friend of Ambrose Scott, and a previous long-term employee of the Rosedon Guest House and later the Cable & Wireless.
