My deepest condolences to Loy´s family anf friends. I met Lloyd through a photography class he taught at Adult Education. We struck up a friendship due to my art and his photography. Loyd was full of life and energy. His love for Africa always at the forefront, he enjoyed introducing others to the same. A few years back he visited me at `the Parapet´, the home of the late Stewart Mott where he photographed my works for submission in a gallery. He was unhappy with the lighting available so we spent much time moving the canvases from one wall to another. Ever patient, he strove for quality in his work. Lloyd will be sorely missed. May the memories together bring you comfort and time bring you peace.

Lloyd has always been a cherished part of our lives and family, consistently bringing joy and smiles to our faces. His kindness, wisdom, and sense of humor touched everyone around him. He taught us so much, from valuable life lessons to the importance of love and laughter, and those lessons will forever remain in our hearts. His presence will be deeply missed, but his spirit will live on in the memories we carry with us.

I'm so sad for you Charles & Carolyn and Florenz & Clarence and to all who knew and loved your brother. He was special - exuding old-time Bermuda, sorely on the wane these days.

Two things that stand out when I think of Lloyd: his ready smile and his warmth. I fondly remember the times we saw each other in New York City and his eagerness to tell me of his latest safari tour in Africa.

He had a deep love of country music - unusual for a man colour back in the day - and inevitably we would hit the nearest bar playing live CxW music, and for the comraderie.
Since then, I always think of Lloyd when I pass those "city western pubs".

Happy Trails to you Lloyd, until we meet again..........

Bermuda, and the world has lost a true star. Lloyd was my friend. He was my uncle´s friend, then my moms friend...and then he was mine. We were on a first name basis-he insisted. His sense of humor and wit knew no bounds. Nor did his love for a sugary glass of drink. Ha. He will be missed. He will be remembered dearly (this pic was taken on safari in 2006).

Our sincere sympathy, Gayle and family. Lloyd was such a gentle giant. He was my earliest photography teacher back in the early 80's and he was the best. We reconnected during the Andersen days and I always loved hearing about his safaris. What a loss! Please know you are in our hearts and prayers.
