A service celebrating the life of LUTHER VAN "PINKY" "JENTO" JOHNSON, beloved husband of Susan Elizabeth Johnson; son of the late Marie Johnson and Luther Lewis and mother Irene Caesar; father of Sherrilynn Marie Johnson, Tiona Wilson and Rodre' Wilson, in his 70th year, of "Harford Place", 69 Somerset Road, Sandys will be held at First Church of God, The Transformation Center, Sound View Road, Sandys on Monday July 25 at 4pm.The family will be present to receive friends at the Pearman Funeral Home on Sunday from 7.30 to 9pm and on Monday at the Church from 3pm.Interment will follow at St James Cemetery. Flowers may be sent.Luther is survived by his sisters Lois Maybury (Maxwell), Gwendolyn Maugh, Rosie Wellman; brothers Herbie Johnson (Faye), Artifus Cumberbatch (Monica), Jimmy Cumberbatch, Clarence Caesar; grandchildren Jaesharrie Johnson, Taisha and Taelor Wilson, Tyrique Smith, sister-in-law Kay Burrows, brothers-in-law Henry Smith, Carlton Smith (Paula), Gregory Smith, special cousin Grace Brangman; special friend Noel Butterfield; godchildren Carmilita Maybury, Karen Ming, Jamaine Pearman, numerous nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.Luther was predeceased by sisters Irona and June Johnson and brothers Myron "Joe", Leon, Kenneth and Donald Johnson.Colours may be worn.PEARMAN FUNERAL HOME

I extend heartfelt sympathy in the loss of your father, husband and grandfather. I met your father many years ago through the Caesars who were my neighbors growing up. I recall his sense of humor. May the peace of God that surpasses all understanding rest upon you at this time.

Sis Susie take heart in knowing that you were a loving and devoted wife and Sherri a loving and devoted daughter. Cherish the wonderful memories that you have and take comfort knowing that he has eternal life and one day you will see him again.
