It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lydia Leila Simons, wife of the late William "Chick" Simons, born March 28th 1929, died December 4th 2021, daughter of the late John Moniz and Belmira Isabelle de Andrade Moniz in her 93rd year of the Packwood Home, Somerset. Survived by brother Edward Moniz, predeceased by Donald Moniz, Helen Wilson, Mary Sousa, Hilda Perry, Dolly Burgess, John Moniz, Natalie Pemberton, Belmira Hunt and George Moniz. Loving Mother, predeceased by Sharon, survived by sons Michael "Chick", Allen (Debbie), Derek (Lisa) and Kenny (Jenny) Simons.Lovingly remembered by grandchildren Craig (Rhiannon), Susan (Tarik), Daniel, Joshua, Bryan (Sophie), Natasha, Derek J. (Juliana) Simons and Kristine (Junior) DeSilva, great grandchildren Michael, Roman, Natalee, William, Cora, Rory and Caleb, numerous nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.A private family graveside service was held at St. James Cemetery.A special mention for the loving care at the Packwood Home.A memorial donation can be made in her honour to "Cats Bermuda" www.cats.bm tel: 505-2682, P.O.
