I was saddened to hear of Lynda's passing. I admired her greatly. She held Bermuda and the wellbeing of its people close to her heart. She and her friend and colleague, Quentin Edness, were especially interested and instrumental in the early development of the Women's Resource Center. I extend sincere condolences to her family. Hers was a life well lived.

It was with great sadness to hear of my dear friend Lynda's death. Although her health had been declining over the past few years it's always so very upsetting to hear such sad news. Lynda, Quinton and I spent many years, enjoying time together and I cherish all the memories .
Thinking of you Jerome and your family at this sad time - you cared for Lynda so well at home and I know how much she will be missed. Love Vicki

She was one of the great people and I was proud to work with her on Mathieson Investments and as one of founders of TeleBermuda , Bermudians still benefit from that arrangement.

Rest in Perfect Peace Queen Lynda, you are the epitome of a trailblazer, your candle will forever guide the legal sector in Bermuda.
(I'll say Lynda 'with a Y' to the World, Bermuda was made better because of your high integrity work.
My sincere condolence and prayers to the family and friends of such a Lady.
I read with admiration and inspiration the below excerpt:
Quote "Mrs. Milligan-Whyte´s legal career commenced at the Ontario Securities Commission in Toronto, Ontario and brought her back to Bermuda when she joined Appleby, Spurling & Kempe, one of the largest law firms on the Island. Subsequently, she set up her own practice to assist Bermuda to expand its economy by opening up opportunities in other sectors.

She has been responsible for a number of business initiatives in the area of trusts, investment banking, commercial real estate development and telecommunications. In the 1990s, as attorney for one of Bermuda´s telecommunications companies, Mrs. Milligan-Whyte assisted the company in obtaining its licence and raising capital from the public necessary to lay a fibre-optic cable between Bermuda and New Jersey. This helped Bermuda to become one of the most wired jurisdictions in the world"
