Mrs. Baptist was a loving and caring person to everyone. Both her and Hilda were a great team along with the staff for many children who went to her nursery on The top of Khyber Pass. Our prayers are with her family, that God will comfort them during this time.

Our sincere condolences to the Baptiste family. We also cherish the memories of Tory going to Homestead Nursery. Mrs. Baptiste, Hilda, Debbie and the rest of the staff were loving kind and took good care of the children, you knew when leaving your child there in the morning they were safe. I remember when picking up Tory afternoons he was always in Mrs. Baptiste lap, she just spoiled him, she use to say Tory was her adopted son. When Tory left there we would always stop by and visit the nursery.
Remember all of the good times that you shared with her.
May she rest in peace.

I had the pleasure of working with Mrs Baptise she was a wonderful woman , she told me so many things about her life I learn so much from her , Im so sorry Andy your wife and traci she will always be in my heart GOD knows best

Our sincere condolence to the family of Baptiste. We cherish the memories of Tariq being in the care of Miss Mary, Aunt Hilda and all the loving child caregivers of Homestead Nursery. Baptiste was a loving but strong disciplinarian whereas Hilda was the calm/soother/spoiler for the children. What a great balance it was for them...Ras and I can attest Tariq was always in good hands, Baptiste and Hilda allowed us to know in all our interaction that Tariq was special to them (I know all other Homestead Nursery parents will feel the same way). After Tariq left Homestead we made our frequent weekend visits, moreso the months after Hilda pass and knowing we were moving to Jamaica we will always treasure the talks we had with Baptiste. The passing of Hilda broke our hearts and now Baptiste is gone to be with her daughter/twin, so while we cry and feel sad about Baptiste transition we all know Hilda is happier. We continue to pray for the entire family that you will cherish the memories you had with Baptiste and this will help to cheer you up in the difficult moments. God Bless you all.

To the Baptist family my thoughts and prayers are with you. I have so many beautiful memories of Mrs. Baptist, Hilda and family that I will never forget. Our families were like one and their home was my home. We were neighbors up on the hill n the memories will never be forgotten. My first gold earrings when I was 3 months old were Portuguese gold. We will always love and miss you and Hilda. May you both rest in peace.
