My condolences to the family of Ms. Askia. I'm so sorry for your loss. I worked with Ms. Askia at St. David's Preschool. She was such a wonderful counsellor to work with. I will always remember her love and dedication to her students and colleagues.

Carlene and Jasmine, when we heard of the sad news we were shocked. Memories of meeting your Mom came to mind. I know you girls had a very special bond with her. Dear Jasmine and Carlene and families. I am so very sorry for the loss of Marian. I have known her for so many years - through working with my Mom on the base. We even attended your wedding to Carlton all those years ago. Marian and I continued to stay friends, of course with the help of facebook. She will truly be a miss to many of us. Carlene and Jasmine, I'm so sorry to hear of your mom's passing. From the first time we met, volunteering many years ago at the Women's Resource Centre, we struck up a friendship.
