Marie Diane Spence Nee MingJanuary 25, 1938 - December 18, 2025MARIE DIANE SPENCE NEE MING, was born to the late Gladwyn "Jack" Ming and the late Isabelle Ming nee Virgil on January 25th, 1938. She was the fourth child of five siblings Marion Johnston, Barbara Brown, Gladwyn "Moe" Ming and Glenwood (Glenn) Ming and grew up on Canal Road in Pembroke.Marie resided in Springfield Massachusetts for over 60 years.Deaconess Marie went home to Glory on December 18, 2025. Her life and legacy were celebrated on January 25th, 2026, at her beloved Bethel AME Church in Springfield.Our family will miss her spirit, her energy and most of all her LOVE. Marie is lovingly remembered by her brother Glenn Ming (the late Carolyn), numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews, cousins, friends and God children Rebekah Foster (New York), Lesiline Williams, Stacia Ming and a host of relatives and friends in Bermuda and the United States, including adopted niece Denise (Nisey) McCall.Marie was predeceased by her sisters Marion Johnston (the late Gladwin), Barbara Brown (the late Walton "Brownie"), her brother Gladwyn "Moe" Ming (the late Lillian), special cousins Sylvia Davis (the late Clarence) and Eunice Ming. She was also predeceased by her nieces and nephews Calvin Johnston, Roseanne Smith, Walton Brown Jr. MP, Preston Davis, Clarence Davis "Kong Kong" and TaQueena Trott.

Aunt Marie Spence, so truly hurting and very sad to learn of your transitioning one week before Christmas. I remember meeting you at your house on my very first visit to your home in Springfield Mass. I recall you taking me to Bethel A. M. E church whichbl enjoyed. I immediately put you in my special friends list because you meant that much to me after realizing that you was my sister Carolyn 's sister in law and l valued that because you was so special to me. High respects was given to a sweet child of GOD. I remember calling you at your sister Barbara house to say hello to you. It is so sad to know that your labor has ended and your reward will be awaiting you. To the MING FAMILY, l expressed my deepest sympathies on the passing of Aunt Marie. She was a beautiful friend. R. I. P. Aunt Marie. Precious in the sight of OUR GOD is the death of HIS SAINTS. Psalms 116 v 15 Keep her memories alive. So long bye bye Aunt Marie. You always was a beautiful lady GOD BLESS THE ENTIRE FAMILY.
