MARILYN TRUEMAN MURDOCH

Bulley-Graham-Rawlins Funeral Home. We regret to announce the passing of MARILYN TRUEMAN MURDOCH, the beloved daughter of the late James and Pamela Murdoch. She was big sister to James and Evelyn Murdoch and a loving aunt to Eric Murdoch, all of whom reside in British Columbia, Canada. Marilyn is also mourned by her special cousins David and Donna Murdoch; as well as many other cousins and friends; including the Westmeath Family. Marilyn Trueman Murdoch was born in Bermuda in 1935. She attended the Bermuda High School for Girls and enjoyed a happy childhood. Later, she pursued her education at McGill University, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce degree. After graduating, she worked for Sun Life Insurance Company in Montreal for a few years. When illness struck, she returned to Bermuda to live with her parents. During this time, she was in volunteer work and, in later years, provided immense support in caring for her mother, despite her own health challenges. This care enabled her mother to remain in the family home until her passing. After her mother's death, Marilyn lived independently in her own apartment until the age of 80, when she moved to Westmeath. She enjoyed her time there, saying that she was well taken care of by the friendly staff and how much she enjoyed the food. The Graveside Service will take place at St. John's Church, Pembroke, on Wednesday, 11th of June at 2.00pm.
