Martin H WenerMarch 11, 1928 - April 26, 2017After a courageous battle with cancer, Martin passed away peacefully on April 26, 2017. Martin was predeceased by his mother Catherine in 2001, father Sam in1994 and brother Ben in 2000.Martin led a full and exciting life including travelling. He had a varied career in Edmonton until he moved to Bermuda where he resided for 26 years and spent the balance of his career until he retired as senior vice president of Bermuda Forwarding.Upon retiring, Martin returned to Edmonton to care for his parents. After his father passed, Martin spent countless hours, daily caring for Catherine at Norwood Extended Care Centre where she resided for over twenty years. After her passing, Martin volunteered countless hours serving lunch and dinner to the residents on the second floor where his mother resided and knew all the residents and staff by name. Martin requested no formal funeral.
