Sandys Secondary Class of 1973
January 9, 2022
The family of Mrs. Marva Phillips we extend our sincerest condolences in the passing of your beloved family member. We share in your loss as your Mom was our Biology Teacher at Sandys Secondary School. She was a passionate and dedicated teacher and because of those attributes many of us were successful in passing our Biology GCE. We were fond of our Biology teacher and respected her. However, as adults, our respect for your Mom grew even more after finding out that Marva Phillips was a member of the Progressive Group. I will cherish the last time I saw your Mom whilst attending a church service in August 2019 at Allen Temple. Some members of the Class of 1973 attended and a picture was taken. We say farewell to our Biology teacher who loved the Lord and her family dearly.

Mrs. Marva Phillips will be always dear to my Sandys Secondary School heart. I attribute a tremendous amount of my academic success to my time at Sandys Secondary. Mrs. Phillips was my Biology teacher and teach, she did. Thank to her greatness in teaching, I attained not only my G.C.E.in Biology, but other subjects as well!
I humbly bow and honour Mrs. Phillips....an outstanding educator...wanting the best from her students.
Thank you to her family for loaning her to us at Sandys Secondary School.
Rest, Mrs. Phillips. Rest in God's love.
Condolences to her entire family and her friends!
