The Broken Chain
We never knew so quickly that
God would call your name.
In life we loved you dearly,
In death we do the same.
It broke our hearts to lose you;
It brought us so much pain
As part of us went with you
The day God called you home.
You left us precious memories,
Your love will be our guide.
And though we cannot see you,
You are always at our side.
Our family chain is broken,
And nothing seems the same,
But as God calls us one by one,

Bro. Merick was truly a Man of God. He loved to praise God on the organ and with his voice. Sis. Jane, I have always blessed by how he supported when you taught Bible Study, and his contributions to the class. May God's comfort and peace be your portion. He is remembered well.

Merick was a loving father and grandfather whose devotion to his family was so evident. I´m grateful he was able to spend time with his family this Christmas and share those meaningful moments together, including meeting his new grandson. He will be deeply missed. My heartfelt condolences to the Hall family.
