So very sad to hear of Mike´s (aka Papa Cherry)
passing this week.
I had the ultimate privilege of working for the family as his grandchildren´s nanny and he was just the best grandad they could ever have had.
He touched so many hearts and he will be missed by so many.

My deepest condolences to Anne, Leslie, Dennis and your entire family. I have so many memories of Mike (and of course Anne too) at almost every horseshow, tirelessly working those long days to ensure that a show ran smoothly and the courses were set properly. So many kids and their parents came and went through the years but the Cherrys were a fixture for decades! Always smiling and cheerful too! He will be missed by many.

Condolences to the Cherry Family ... such a special family whose support and enthusiasm for sports, whether swimming or equestrianism is unparalleled in Bermuda. As parents of two International equestrians, we are so grateful for the support by Michael, as President of the Bermuda Equestrian Federation, and his wife, Anne, for their exceptional assistance afforded our family in their competitions in Bermuda and abroad for actual decades. We, along with hundreds of Bermuda's equestrians, have been truly blessed by the support of this wonderful man, here pictured at the Bermuda Sports Award ceremony with our daughter Annabelle. Bless you all at this sad time.
