Our condolences to Pearl and the Outerbridge family. Miles was one of the stalwarts who helped us to establish T.S. Admiral Somers, St George Sea Cadets in Convict Bay in the early 1970's. His leadership and advice was a vital factor in the formation of the Sea Cadet Unit which in the space of 5 years became one of the top 10% of Sea Cadet Units in the Commonwealth. Thank you for your support Miles. May you rest in peace.

Stella and I are saddened to learn of Mile's passing. He and I shared a common career achievement, as we both spent some years up at the Churchill Falls Labrador Power Complex, in Labrador. Miles was there in the very beginning as an Engineer, whilst I arrived there in 1980 to fly the corporate jet and stayed for 6+ years. In 1981 Miles granted my family and me, two weeks to camp on Hen Island. When he discovered we were living in Churchill Falls, we began to share our memories of -60C Winters and flies all Summer long... Camping every summer on Hen Island was the reason we managed to get through the brutal Labrador Winters. On behalf of my wife Stella, daughter Candice, Son's Denis and Sean, we wish to express our heartfelt condolences to Peral and Family. We send many blessings and prayers that G-d will comfort you all at this time.

To Mrs. Outerbridge and family I offer condolences from the Bassett family. Rotarian Miles was one of my Mentors when I joined St George's Rotary several years ago. He was a gentle giant with years of experience. He has inspired so many as he led by example. We will remember your family in prayer at this very sad time.
He served others above self and exemplified kindness and patience. We will all miss him.

I am so sad to learn of Miles' passing. I first met Miles in 1980 when I first came to Bermuda. I worked with him professionally in the construction field and later through the Rotary Club in St Georges. A dedicated professional, always willing to offer advice, I developed great respect for Miles as a very capable engineer and as a warm human being. My sincere condolences to the family. R.I.P. Miles.
