Mustafa Abdul-Hadee Obituary
A Muslim service for Mustafa Abdul-Hadee 'KiKi' formerly known as Ernest Clifton Williams in his 60th year, of #35 Hermitage Road, Smith's, beloved husband of Ameenah Abdul-Hadee; son of the late Ernest Williams and Komia Thompson, loving father to Melvin Simmons and Mukhtar Abdul-Jabbar, brother to Carl, Anthony and Milton Foggo, Lavern Williams, Angela Davis, Linda Foggo, Shereete Williams, Lorretta Griffin and Sandra Hagan, will be held at Masjid Muhammad #32 Cedar Avenue, Pembroke TODAY, Friday January 27th, 2012 at 2:30pm. Interment will follow at the Muslim Cemetery in St. Georges. Flowers may be sent. There will be no viewing. Also surviving are grandchildren Macai, Makayla and Mica Simmons, Malaikah, Munir, Musa and Mustafa Abdul-Jabbar; aunt Constance (Pinky) Mello; uncles Eugene Willliams and Lucky El-Amin; mother-in-law Basimah El-Amin; daughters-in-law Rossette Dowling, and Maaida Abdul-Jabbar; brothers-in-law Rashad El-Amin and William Scott; sisters-in-law Safiyyah Pease, Atanya Dickerson, Wala El-Amin; nieces, nephews and cousins too numerous to mention.

I knew Kiki only in the few times i would see him by chance. But he was such a friendly and sincere man that i know he will really be missed, as well as his brother, by all of us. My heart goes out to all of your family.

I extend my condolences to Kiki's wife and children, and entire family.. He was in my class in high school and I had the priviledge of performing my first surgery in piercing his ear. :) Something I speak about often. Kiki was always the same. Mild mannered and humble, very respectful. I am sure he will be missed, still we praise God for the beautiful memories he left behind.. Rest in peace buddy.

I did not know Mr. Abdul- Hadee but his wife is my Religion Teacher at The Berkeley Institute and she is the sweetest thing, always talking about her husband and the funny stories about him. I may not have known him but if he was anything like his wife than I know he was a very good man. I want to wish my condolences to the Abdul- Hadee Family you are in my prayers and also in the prayers of The Berkeley Institute Family. Mustafa Abdul-Hadee (cousin Clifton) and Michael will be missed so very much. I would see them very often at the Crawl gas station getting coffee or snacks. They would always always ask about my Mom, Mrs. helene Paynter and while working at KEMH, they would make time to visit with her. Brotherly love could not be shown any better way then through these guys. Love to the family near and far.

We are definitely sad hearing the passing away of our brother Abdul Hadee. I cannot stop my tears because he was a wonderful Muslim brother, who was always sharing whatever he has, with his fellow human beings.
Abdul Hadee came to my assistance during my difficult moments in Bermuda. He transported my belongings free of charge with his construction truck from Southampton to St Georges. He assisted me in so many ways, only Allah can reward him. He was really helpful to me and I will never forget him.
Please Ameenah and the family, accept my deepest condolences. Abdul Hadee shall always be remembered. It is a lost not only to your family but to humanity and Bermuda specifically. Myself and son Pa Kemo, will always remember him in our duas. May Allah grant him Jannah.

I had the privilege of meeting Mr. Abdul-Hade in September 2007 while conducting fieldwork for my PhD research on maritime heritage in Bermuda.
I was passing by Mr. Abdul-Hadee's home in St. George's and noticed the Tern sitting proudly outside, before her restoration. I knocked on his door and luckily he was home and willing to speak with me. We spoke for almost an hour about the passion he and his brother Mikel Williams had for restoring wooden boats and the sea.
It was a wonderful chance encounter that was meaningful to my research and my own sense of our community, and even more so now that he and his brother have so sadly passed and joined the many of other Bermudians we have lost to the sea.
