Augustus Funeral Home regrets that we announce the passing of MYRTLE LAVINIA BURROWS, in her 107th year, of 125 North Shore, Pembroke, daughter of the late Mable Dill and the late George Gilbert Dill; and wife to loving husband the late Hyel Reginald Burrows; loving mother to Allister Simmons, Carl Simmons and Cynthia Simmons, and sister to Phyllis Louise Fubler, Edna Helen Brangman, Maxwell Roger Dill Snr., Leslie Earlston "Bird" Dill, Winslow Ambrose Dill, Sydney Clarence "Knights" Dill, George Dill, Cecil Sinclair Dill, and Percival Dill.The funeral service will be held at 2pm on Wednesday, January 7th, 2026 at St. John's Church in Pembroke. Visitation at Augustus Funeral Home Tuesday, January 6th, 2026 from 6.30pm - 8.00pm.No wake at this time. Heartfelt condolences - Family of Cousin Myrtle
She was 1st cousin to my father George Lee.
I became more acquainted with cousin Myrtle on her bringing her husband to hospital where I worked.
She was amazing, always well dressed, well mannered and pleasant, never a frown.
Oh to be like cousin Myrtle and live that long and content.
May she rest in peace.
