I´m writing from Halifax, Nova Scotia to express my sincere condolences to all of you. I´m David and Molly Critchley´s daughter, Beth, and met Nicky just once, when he was a wee lad.
Viewing Nicky´s service online provided an opportunity to get to know Nicky and to honour his life. His contributions to family, community and the art world are truly remarkable and will continue to have a lasting impact on people throughout the world.
May happy memories of Nicky sustain you at this very difficult time.

What a loss!
Nicky had a vast knowledge of Bermuda's arts which he shared generously.
In particular he offered help with the Bermudian silver section of my last exhibition at the Bermuda National Gallery, "Made in Bermuda".

Hello Jamie, Ben, and Chloe. I am so, so, so sorry to learn of Nick's passing. You have my deepest sympathy. He was such a wonderful person. Jamie, he thought the world of you as often times when I would be at your house doing your ironing, he would state how good a human being you are . The world has lost one of it's best. To Nick´s family, I am truly sorry for your loss. This is a shock to learn of Nick passing.
I only just got to meet Nick in December 2023 at the Farmers & Vendor´s Market at the Botanical Gardens when he asked me to make warm alpaca socks for him because his feet were always cold on the New York winter weather . I recall how he had me giggling when he shared how his grandmother used to knit when he used to visit her home on school break.
Nick was a humorous chatter, I am glad I got to know him for the brief period in time.
May his soul rest in peace and may you all be comforted as you mourn his loss.
