I met Ouida through my brother whom she dated for a while and I thought from the moment that I met her that she was a beautiful spirit inside and out,and as long as I have known Ouida, she has never proven me to be wrong.We all walk that path that we walk and grow from the paths that we visit, and even when Ouida walk the paths of heart ache and disappointment, her spirit never betrayed her. Cynthia and all the family - I extend my deepest sympathy to you on the loss of your dear sister, Ouida.
I am sure the last few months have been very difficult and draining for you.
Ouida lived in the same complex as I do.
She was a pleasant, quiet and gentle neighbour - who as others here have remarked - "always had a smile."
In her coming and going she would take the steps, here, two-at-a time,no bother!
Such a shock, then, to hear of her illness.
She is out of her suffering and pain, now. May she rest in peace.

To the entire Bean family
I was saddened to read of Ouida's passing this morning.
I was a classmate of Ouida's at the Berkeley Institute during the sixties. I did not see her that often, but whenever our paths crossed, you can rest assured there was a very amicable greeting. I will always remember her jovial spirit and outgoing personality. She was very intelligent and was one of the best travel agents this island has ever produced. Rest in peace my friend.
