I'm so glad that Kaaliyah and I got a chance last summer to meet our sweet "Grandee" and what a gem she is. I pray that as we mourn our hearts are overcome with the sweet and warm memories we shared and will never forget. Although I did not know her for an extended period, I too was impressed with her smile and pleasant bearing. My last memory of her will always be her energetic dancing and spirit at Lynn's house over the Christmas holiday.

To all of my relatives in the Quinn, Smith and Simons families, I was so shocked when I received a phone call from Bermuda to let me know that Pat had passed. Pat was always my go to person when trying to trace the family tree. I will miss her so much including at the Continental Society meetings. Rest in peace Pat until we meet again in that great getting up morning. I am not on the island and will not be able to attend her funeral.
