Peter Edney Obituary

A Memorial service for PETER JACKAMAN BONNER EDNEY, a devoted, loving husband and best friend of Julie Edney, loving father of Peter and Bruce, grandfather of Luke, Martina and Pearce Edney, in his 88th year, of Cavello Bay, Sandys, will be held at St Anne's Church, Southampton on Saturday, July 16, 2016 at 3.30pm.Peter also leaves to cherish his memory sisters-in-law Elizabeth Henderson, Peggy Harris, Patricia Cooper, Cornelia (Warren) Young, Prudence (Martin) Brewer, Kathy Mericle and Teresa Edney, numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends from Bermuda and overseas. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the SPCA, P.O. Box WK 94, Warwick WK BX, or to PALS, PO Box DV 19, Devonshire DV BX.He was predeceased by Dorothy June Edney loving mother of his children.The family requests that colours be worn.Pearman Funeral Home

Bruce, Peter, Martina, Luke, Pearce and Julie. I wish I could be there. Uncle Peter was a great influence on me. He was a loving and caring man of principle, and an example on how to be a father. My thoughts and love to you all.

Our family shares your grief for the loss of Peter ... the only words of consolation I can think to offer, given all the loved ones we have recently lost, is that there is currently a lot of catching up going on between them up there and between us down here ...
