To the Nelmes Family,
I am so sorry for your loss. He was more than just a patient to me; We had many conversations, while he was with us. I only knew him for a short time, but I feel like I have lost a memember of my own family. He was always kind and so loving, especially when he talked about his family and his dogs; he looked so happy and proud.
I wish I could have attended his funeral. I´m so sorry I missed it.
I hope he is in a good place now, and I pray that God will bless him, and his family during this difficult time.

Peter's laugh is something we talk about when we are in any gathering. We always refer to him as one of our friends back in Bermuda who had the best laugh ever! It will continue to keep him in our lives as we hear similar sounds among gatherings of sorts. There is often always something that remains for each of us to keep memories alive, and each memory can ignite a heart of gratitude for the blessing Peter was to many people in different ways. We are particularly grateful to God for granting him more time here with you all, and for taking him from his pain at the appointed time. My thoughts, prayers and love are with you Leeanne. Peter was a part of the fabric of our teen and young adult years. I can´t believe Mark, and both Peter´s have gone but I know they are blasting some major reggae tunes in Heaven and watching over us with love. Much physical pain was endured by them before they left us and I know they are now in a joyful, pain-free place. To Peter´s family, I am so sorry for your loss. My family lived next door in Sousa Est about 6-7 years ago. Peter was such a kind neighbor and and my children would dance in the yard when he played music after work! I will miss seeing him drive by, if he saw us, he always waved at us. Such a lovely man. I only met Peter on one very special occasion when he took us fishing and what fun we had. He had such knowledge of the sea, the fish (that failed to bite that day!) and the beautiful surroundings and he made us feel so welcome. Peter will I'm sure leave us all with similar happy memories. I´m so sorry when I heard the news of your husband`s passing when I got to GriefShare in the USA it was in my most darkest and hardest time in my life to where I was losing hope in the will to still be here on this earth, and when the Lord directed me to wonderful women and men that I can call family and also to learn how to heal and be vulnerable and one day you reached out to me in a text We needed some words of encouragement you let yourself be yours by the Lord and that´s something I will never forget and I appreciate you, We are family at Grief Share.
