Dear Vicki,
It was with great sadness that I learned of the passing of Mr. Edness. He was the Minister of Health when I was first appointed to the position of Executive Director of the Bermuda Hospitals Board. I had great respect and admiration of his quiet dignity and sincere love for Bermuda and its people. He was a true gentleman who during his tenure devoted his time and effort toward finding solutions to issues in order to improve the health outcomes for all Bermudians.
My deepest condolences to you and your family.

On behalf of our family, I extend our sincere condolences on the passing of Mr. Edness. I sincerely apologize for having not attended today's funeral service. As you may or may know, I thought of Quinton as my second Dad. He gave me great advice that helped me to be a better father and husband. I loved working for him when he was representing the UBP in Warwick West and I enjoyed our lunches at Little Venice and elsewhere. It was a special time for me and I have nothing but fond and happy memories of my time with Quinton. Please think of all the wonderful happy moments shared with him. He loved life, you his family, and helping to make Bermuda a better place for everyone. A great man. With love, David Faries & Family

To Vicki and Stacey,

Our family extends to you our sincere condolences on the passing of this gentle giant. While I never had the privilege to serve in Parliament with him, I can certainly say that I have received sage advice from him.

QE had an amazing ability to hold a divergent opinion without personalizing any disagreement. His demeanor was exemplary and the country is better off by the service that he unstintingly gave.

May he Rest In Peace and may you be comforted by the memories that you created with him.

My Dear Vicky and Stacey,
My heart aches with you. I have always been thankful for the times I spent with Quinton as his Running Mate, and as the Chair of Warwick West UBP Branch. Bermuda is definitely better for Quinton's many advice. I pray that God will give us all courage and comfort. Quinton has earned his rest. Thanks for sharing him with all of Bermuda. Shalom.

Deepest condolences to family and friends. And so we say goodbye to the Crystal Studios of the Sunset Lounge, where QE displayed his fine knowledge of jazz and popular music.
I joined ZBM in 1965, working first as the early-morning man on ZMB-1, then as Programme Director and on into management, but I left broadcasting to start my own company. The years with ZBM will always be precious to me, and I remember QE with huge fondness and appreciation: I doubt we'll see his like again for a LONG time. Warmest wishes to all ex-ZBMers!
