A memorial service for MR. RANDOLPH MORDECAI RATTERAY, JP, in his 89th year, of 94 Middle Road, Paget, will be held on Monday, March 9th, 2026, at 11.00am at Mt. Zion AME Church, Southampton.Randolph was the beloved husband of Althea and devoted father of Heather Kent (Jonathan) and Heidi.He was predeceased by his parents Frances Gertrude Burch, MBE (Collingwood), and Percival St. George Ratteray (Faith); his sister Rosalind Williams (Edouard); his brother Ellsworth (Birdie); his brother-in-law Archibald Browne, Jr.; and his nephews Kevin Ratteray and Anthony and Avonn Browne.He is survived by his much-cherished granddaughter Ella Kent, and granddog Sammy Kent; his sisters Leonetta Blake (the late Orville) and Beverley Ratteray (Mickey); his brother Percival Jr. (Tanya).Also surviving are his nieces Melanie Ratteray (mother Effie), Renee Fortner (Dwayne), Rosalind Blake, Kina Cann (George), Victoria Edmonds (Toney) and Tracee Ratteray (Danvers).He was also much loved by his nephews Deryck Blake, Scott Williams, and Ellsworth Ratteray Jr.; and Andrew, Aaron, and Amori Browne, their sister Amy-Lyn Browne, and their mother Joan Vidale, as well as many other dear relatives and cherished friends.The service will be livestreamed via the Mt. Zion Bermuda YouTube Channel. Colours may be worn.In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to Agape House (via Friends of Hospice) or to Mt. Zion AME Church.
