I will always remember Stella with great affection and knew him to be sincere and full of life; a more interesting person there cannot have been. He worked with us at Hardell for over a year and every day brought a special 'Stella Saying'. On behalf of Harold, Clifford, Ralph, Aaron and Corey...God Bless You All, you have our condolences.

To the Gilbert family,
Stella will be a miss, he was a gem and always gave us a laugh. He had a serious side to him too, he often spoke of his son and grands with a pleasing smile on his face. And always teased my friend telling her he was going to marry her, with authentic marriage license papers! God be with you at this time, as you cherish the memories you have of him. Peace be unto you all.

Mr. Gilbert attended about 6 services with Shekinah Worship Centre, while we were at Victor Scott School. It was an honor to have God send him our way. He LOVED music and dancing. He also shared some of his newspaper clippings with me. (Something my dad always does). Hence, he certainly had my respect.

I pray that his son, and his family realize that Gilbert was truly a precious soul. He is already missed...

We are praying your strength in the Lord.

To The Gilbert Family,
My sincerest condolences on the passing
of Stella. We worked together many years
ago at South Princess and through the years when he saw me in town he would shout long legs, high heels with that
Stella swagger and smile

. May Day would never be the same as he partied behind every band
and Gombey Troupe that came by, he got the party started outside of the Masjid.
He would truly be missed.Stella dance among the stars R.I.P.
