To Angelia and the Todd and Smith families , l would like to send condolences on behalf of my grandparents Clifford (deceased) and Ruby (101) who were very fond of Sir Richard . I only met the legend about ten years ago, but if you were observant you could have learned in ten minutes something that will last a lifetime ! As a Social Club legend Whitey Ford said , Sir Richard was CALM , COOL AND COLLECTED ON AND OFF THE FIELD. I admired that quality and the hope is that young Bermudian men can aspire to those heights.

It is with great sadness that I have learned of Richards passing today.
Our friendship with the Todd family was more than 45 years. I cannot count the many happy times together here in Pennsylvania and in Bermuda.
I send my deepest sympathy, prayers and most especially love to Angela and the Todd family. Life as we know it will never be the same.
May there be rejoicing in Heaven as we feel our loss - one day to be reunited.

To Angelia M. Todd, Calvin Waldron, Richard Jr. (Tiffanie) and Roger (Serena) Todd, brother to Thelma Hart and Janet 'Pinky' Todd and the extended Todd family.
I remember Richard as a great landlord and neighbor who rented the perfect one-bedroom cottage to me and my new bride in 1990-1994.

We are so sorry to hear of Richard's passing. I have many memories of our families sharing growing up in Sunnyside Park and we are still neighbors today! I haven't seen him in a while, but he was always the same. Just a good guy.

Angie & the entire Todd family, I am so saddened to hear that my good friend Richard has passed. I don't remember when he started collecting people from the airport for me because of the places I worked but he proved himself to be an Ambassador for Bermuda. He always was very kind and encouraged me to be the best that I could be - I will never forget the special thing he did for my husband and I when our new physically challenged van arrived on the dock. Angie & family, so sorry to hear of Ricard's passing. Whenever he saw me at the bus stop, no matter where he was going, he would always stop and ask me if I needed a lift.
