A private family graveside service for the late ROBERT NEWBOLD TUCKER, beloved husband of Anne Tucker, of Paget Parish was held on Thursday April 14, 2022 at St Mark's Church Cemetery, Smith's Parish.Son of the late Henry James and Catherine Tucker, he is survived by his daughters Rebecca (Michael) and Beth (Bob); son-in-law George; 6 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren; sister Judith (Frederick); other relatives and friends. He was pre-deceased by his daughter Katharine, brother Jimmy and grandchild Daniel. In lieu of flowers the family requests gifts be made in Bob's name to the Hospitals Auxiliary of Bermuda. Donations to the Auxiliary can be made directly via Bank of Butterfield account # 20 006 060 210024 100 or by check to PO Box HM1023, Hamilton, Bermuda HMDX. Dear Mrs. Tucker,
Please accept my sincere sympathy for your loss of your dear husband, Bob.
I served on the Bda. Hospitals Board with Bob. He was a remarkable Chairman, knowledgeable, and he brought his business acumen to the position.
I remember him as a kind, very nice man who loved his family and enjoyed playing golf.
May God bless you all and may Bob rest in peace.

I had the pleasure of meeting the Tuckers in the late 80's as we lived next door to each other at that time. Both Bob and Anne made us feel very welcome and comfortable in our new home.
Bob was kind, friendly, warm and gracious.. Their two dogs, Dinah and Dixie quickly became welcome guests any time of the day..
That was a special time as we welcomed our first son into our little cottage, "Bangla".
I will always remember those days fondly and the Tuckers were a large part of those happy memories.
God speed Bob Tucker. You have given so much to Bermuda in so many ways.

Bob Tucker spent several years in the USA working for Shell Oil. I knew him quite well when I was head of Shell in Bermuda after he returned to Bermuda from Houston.

I pray you are comforted Anne by your extended family and friends who love you. I will always remember enjoying Bob's deep voice reading the lessons at Peace Lutheran Church when I was a child. He certainly had a presence and will be dearly missed.
