I met Rod aka 'Rappin Roddy' years ago while doing a commercial campaign for Gorham's. His sense of humour always stays with you...a very funny guy.
I didn't see him a lot but know he had his ear to the radio.
He loved his community being a man of charity and vision.
Needless to say he loved his family unconditionally.
To Martha and the children my deepest sympathy and condolences

Sincere condolences to all Rod's family at this sad time. I knew him back when were were growing up and he was Roddy. Always sad to lose another friend from our generation. Deepest sympathies.

Martha, I am very sorry for your loss. I don't think I have seen you since my summer job with AIG back in 1975! With deepest sympathy to you and your children. Best wishes, Martha-Jane (Barritt) Grimm

In addition to my being his 'preferred' tennis partner, Rod and I also shared a love for France. And so our courtside conversations often "indicated his awareness that (French) literature can be both studied on its own and used as a basis for sociological investigation".
My sincerest condolences to Martha and family.
