Ronald Sloper Obituary

It is with deep sadness that we announce the death of RONALD ERNEST SLOPER, beloved husband of June and loving father of Gary and adopted daughter Julie Harrington, in his 88th year of East Shore Road, Sandys. A private graveside service was held at St James Church Cemetery on Thursday May 14, 2015 at 2.30pm. He also leaves to cherish his memory his sister-in-law Marion Sloper, two nieces Valarie Wilkins and Sheila Sloper of Ontario, great-niece Loran, great-great- niece Anabelle, all of Ontario, Canada. Donations in his memory may be sent to the SPCA Animal Shelter, P O Box WK 94, Warwick WK BX. PEARMAN FUNERAL HOME

RIP Ronnie, I am sure there were many a Corgi wagging their tales as you crossed over Rainbow Bridge including Bermuda's Black Seal "Seal" fond memories, Dianne Christie and family

I am saddened to learn of Mr. Sloper's passing and offer my sincere condolences to Gary and family. I remember well Mr. Sloper's smile and a cheery greeting for those he met while walking his dogs on East Shore Road. I know that his passing will not only leave a void in the lives of those closest to him, but in the hearts of all those who knew him.

After much consideration and examination, Ronnie allowed us to purchase one of his corgi puppies which we named Skyye. She was a beloved dog by all. Ronnie was thorough, particular and kind about his corgis. On occasion, we would visit Somerset with her so she could see her family and were always warmly greeted by Ronnie. Ronnie you will be missed. Please give Skyye a lovely pat and rub when you see her.
