Shelda, your dear mother did a number of jobs at ASB, including keeping our offices tidy, helping with charter flight check-ins, preparing virtually all the aircraft that flew in and out for the next load of passengers, etc.
She was a joy to work with, had a fab smile and was simply a people person. She was 'service to others' and was quick to lend a hand when needed.
I moved away in 1974, and the few times I saw Rosalie after wards, gave me great joy; she never changed and was full of life and kindness.
I am very confident that Allah has welcomed her to her new home. May all your family be blessed

My Dear Hajj sister,
In 2008, we answered one of Allah's calls as an invitation to the Holy city of Mecca to perform our Hajj rites. Immediately after meeting Sister Rosalie, I witnessed her beautiful spirit and Islamic adab. I remember when we were waiting for the bus in Mecca. It was a Quranic CD that I contiuously heard throughout my stay in Mecca and Medina. I heard it again at one of the vendors booths. I wanted that CD. However, I had spent all of my riyals after we made farewell tawaf and all I had left was American money. It was too late for me to go to the exchange office due to untimely arrival of our departure transportation and I did not want to give the merchant my American money. Being the kind, compassionate person that she was, Sis. Rosalie purchased the Quranic recitation CD for me. The following year, my car was broken into and the thieves broke my window, stole my mp3 player, all of my CD's and a host of other belongings. I was upset because that particular CD was in my car. A month later, I found the CD in a bag that I had in the garage. And everytime I listen to it, I will remember Allah (and all of his mercy) and Sis. Rosalie Williams. May Allah accept her Hajj, forgive her of her transgressions, and grant her into the Jannah. Ameen.

As a member of the 2008 Hajj group, I am saddened to hear of the passing of our dear Sister Rosalie Williams. Sister Rosalie had a wonderful smile, and she always had a kind word. She offered valuable advice to new Hajjahs about her past experiences on the Hajj. She will be remembered for her enthusiastic support of the Muslim community. May Allah grant her Paradise and help her family and friends through this time of grief.

Rosalie was always smiling. I met her as a teenager at James Bermuda Limited. I was a summer student and we quickly became friends. I loved to hear her laugh. Some people come into our lives, leave footprints in our hearts, and we are never the same. Rosalie was that person. My thoughts and prayers are with her family at this time.

To Rosalie's Dear Family, Rosalie was such a loving and happy person. Whether a year or 10 years passed without us seeing one another, she always looked the same - so beautiful, inside and out, loving and always smiling. God blessed this wonderful, strong woman who was loved and admired by everyone. From two of her Berkeley Institute school-buddies who loved her very much, and we, both embraced her last at our 40th class reunion in October 2003 where we had so much fun with her. We will never forget her.

As salaamu alaikum,
Dear Naimah, Kirk, Shelda and family,
Please accept our condolances in your time of grief. Sister Rosalie was such a strong believer and had such a great spirit. She will never be forgotten.
She was active in giving charity and she was supporting girls education in West Africa who could not afford fees and books. May Allah reward her for all that which she used to do. She was so very helpful to all who met her.
Her energy was so warm and loving and she reminded me much of my own mother. May Allah keep her soul in perfect peace.

Dear Shelda and family,
I extend my deepest sympathies and condolences at the passing of Rosalie. She was a very dear and treasured friend to me. And although I am shocked and saddened at her passing I am going to cling to the thousands, no hundreds of thousands of laughs and wonderful times she and I had over the more than 20 years I knew her.

Your mother was a strong, independent loving woman who always made time for anyone who needed her warmth and love. She taught me so much about life, patience, humor and the importance of it in our daily lives and tolerance I feel honored to have known her and rest assured she will always have a special place in my heart.

Rosalie, may your soul rest in perfect, happy peace. You will be missed by ALL who had the good fortune to know you.
