I have fished since I was 4 years old and eventually became a registered fisherman. I met Silks Richardson in my late teens and went fishing with him and he exposed me to the world and skills of deep sea fishing. I eventually became a licensed charter boat captain. Everything I accomplished as a charter boat fisherman I owe to Captain Silks Richardson and I will miss him dearly. I extend my condolences to his family. Captain Clifton Lambert

Deepest sympathies & condolences to the family. I'll always remember Mr. Richardson in Alana & Jonathan's kitchen frying up fresh fish they had just caught and giving my husband Ron a fishing day full of memories he'll never forget. Much love to you all!

Captain Rudy was an icon...From as far back to the days of the CORAL ISLAND HOTEL in Flatts Villlage where he kept his charter fishing boat ALRUJO do l remember him taking me under his wing and teaching me most of what l know today about the ocean...boat handling,deep sea fishing and life in general...He was my cousin and often told me how he promised my late father that he would look out for me...I remember when he first taught me how to troll the edge for WAHOO his shouting at me"YA WRITING YOUR NAME ALL OVER THE OCEAN" I soon learned how to do it correctly...Rudy was like a 2nd father to me and we were very close....I will certainly miss his genuine concern and fatherly ways...To my entire Richardson family and the fishing community....BLACK BEARD has passed and l extend my heart felt condolences....May he rest in eternal peace....
