o all the children and grandchildren, family and friends of Scherrie, you have my sincerest condolences. The Goldens were a fixture of the Jews Bay community for generations.
My mother was a friend of her mother. I loved Scherrie´s openness and giving heart. I always felt cared for and a space if I ever needed one. I love her daughters and son like family. I will miss her, as will others. if I could sing a song to you it will be "I miss you crazy". I pray with all those who mourn and May Scherrie Rest in Peace.

It was a complete joy and honour to have known sister Scherrie. She was real and had a very comforting spirit. I loved running into her whenever I was out and about or sitting close to her in church because she was a light that brought so much warmth to all of us that were near her. What a beautiful lady you all were blessed with!! Scherrie was a special friend to me. We shared laughs and tears together. So sad to know she will not be here to make us laugh again. Keep her memory alive by loving each other lots (hugs), by giving each other sound advice, and by singing whenever you 'feel' the Spirit. She will definitely be missed and remembered. My big sister Scherrie, my bestie was a collector of everything hearts. But her heart collection went way beyond trinkets, collectibles, and bobbles. Her heart held us all within. Her children were her heart. I was fortunate enough to hold space in her heart, as did my kids. She was family not only to the immediate but to so much more family and friends.
This is a very tough loss for me. I know she's out of pain and that God knows best. But I'm still hurting. She's been with me since I was a little
Girl. The family lived across the street from mine for years. We all became family. We would bicker like sisters and continue on loving like sisters.
Our entire relationship If she had it, and I needed it, she gave it and vice versa. Sarah, Christopher, Christine and Hannah had it as well. Scherrie made sure that they always had the best.
I could go on and on and on but I won't. I'm lifting all of the her children, and grandchildren up in prayer.
Scherrie's nickname for me was Neiceka, so Neiceka signing off now, but loving you forever.
