Our prayers to the Crockwell families may you find comfort in the word of God. We knew the Hon. Shawn and as you know our discussions were pretty deep because that is who he was. We believe that iron sharpens iron and we were all for the better when we were in each others presence. He was a great speaker but most of all he was a great listener. As a mother with a son this hits close to my heart. We will continue to keep you in our prayers but be reassured God is with you and He will wrap His arms around you. Grace and Peace.

Dear Mr & Mrs Howard Crockwell and Family.
Words are never enough when unexpectantly Life throws at us a Curve Ball.
In reflecting on knowing this great Crockwell Family, it was in the Mid Seventies that I first met Mrs Crockwell at the King Edward Hospital as I was her Insurance Salesman and Shawn was not only young but also a very bright child.
As the Country struggles to accept that Shawn is not with us in the Spiritual, he will be in the Hearts of All those persons who believe in the True and Living God. Of course, Shawn Blazed trails and set his bar very High and it is apparent that through his many many endeavours that he was a Champion to many many folk who admired him. I in particular, was impressed with his Character which spoke volumes.
Gone too soon, Yes. For Shawn has reminded us all that Life is about giving Service to Humanity for that was his Stock and Trade.

Howard, Juanita, Maya, Susan and other family members, in the face of your mourning and deep sense of loss, I hope you all can find some comfort in knowing, that Shawn like all of us never purported to be infallible, rather accepting challenges, constantly sought a path, which enable him to rise above them, and near the end of his physical time with us, made clear his desire to urge upon us all, to continue the march toward a fair and just society for all. Where he sought and recognized such an objective was not share by all, he was bold enough to express it, and showed a determination to take a course, that would encourage all of us he left behind, to continue the vision and journey that he signaled we should all pursue. We all know and appreciate, the spiritual root or foundation, as parents you inculcated in him, and some of us who had the privilege of knowing him, can attest that he never strayed too far from that course, and in each instance when the opportunity afforded, he returned to that course. Take comfort, that he is now in a better place, and for those whom he left behind, keep always those positive experiences you shared with him, close to your hearts. May God bless you.
