I did not know you very well, in fact... just in passing. Still that friendly nature and beautiful broad smile's impact was ever lasting. As I said I didn't know you very well so I don't have much to say. Just thinking how lucky those around you now with your smile to see each day.

In complete shock!! Heartbroken!!
I thought of Sonya last week at the stop light near South. P. while I was sitting in my bus waiting for the light to turn green. I said to myself, I haven't seen Sonya lately on the road. I just can't believe this. I met Sonya over 20 years ago when we worked at Butterfield & Vallis. Such a beautiful, awesome person. She always had good energy, full of laughter and just the sweetest person you ever wanted to meet. Every 24 May holiday, I would look for her on Cedar Avenue in front of BPSU, especially the day before when I past by in the bus. I would lay my hand on the horn when I saw her and she would scream out to me waving. I would slow down and we would chat for a few seconds. I will truly miss her. This is hitting me really hard. I can't believe that she's gone. I will never forget her. We have lost a gem. Rest In Peace Sonya. God needed another angel. Until we meet again
