AUGUSTUS FUNERAL HOME REGRETS TO ANNOUNCE THE PASSING OF: - Steve Oryan Parkes.A Homegoing service for STEVE ORYAN PARKES, beloved husband to Rose Parkes; son of Rosaline Hughes and Clifton Parkes; father to Oshane, O'Shane, Steve Jr, Jah'Dimon and Jahdonte' Parkes, Sancia Parkes, Bilesha Parkes-Johnson, Shadian, Rasheeka and Tara Parkes, the late Kemar; bonus father to Jah'Mico and Jah'Mmara Trott; brother to Tryon Parkes and Ransford Simms, Judith Bryan, Carol Bernard and Lisa Benard, in his 54th year of 5 Mary Victoria Road, Devonshire, will be held at Christ Church Devonshire on Wednesday, January 3rd, 2024 at 11.00am.Visitation will be held at Augustus Funeral Home TODAY, January 2nd, 2024 from 6.30pm to 8.00pm. We mourn/cry because we had the opportunity to know and love you and now that you are gone we will miss you terribly. The crying never persists though because we will continue to see you everywhere because of the lifetime of treasured memories shared. We will remember the very hard working person you were. How much you loved and cared for your family. How dedicated you were to your craft. How you brought a ray of sunshine to everyone around you. How you never sat out any song because you loved to dance so much. How much you loved life and was in constant pursuit to make it better.
