A Celebration of Life service for STEVEN KINGSTON CARTWRIGHT, son of the late Theodore Vernet Cartwright and the late Ellen Grace Cartwright (nee Dyer); brother to Jean Evans (the late John), Joan Thompson (the late Sheldon), the late Theodore "Teddy" Cornelius Cartwright, O'Brian (Ismay) Cartwright, Leander (John) Collier, Ruby Warner, and the late George Theodore Lloyd Furbert, will be held at Augustus Funeral Home, TODAY, Friday, October 6th, 2023 at 2pm.Visitation will be held at Augustus Funeral Home, TODAY, Friday, October 6th, 2023 from 1.00pm to 1.50pm. Lovingly survived by aunts Elvera Cartwright (USA); uncles George (Ella) Cartwright (USA); aunts-in-law Barbara and Nelda Dyer; nieces Eugenia Johnson, Tamala Dickinson, Cedallia Cartwright, Chaydora Caines-Jones, Leander (Shadel II) Hamilton, and Donée Caines (USA); nephews Jermaine (Tracy) and Sheldon (Nakia) Thompson, Altan (Tamika) Caines, Dominique Collier and Theophilus Warner (USA); cousins June Daniels, Noriette Perry, Larry (Janette) USA, and John (Terry) Cartwright, Winifred Simmons (the late Warren), George (Genita) Dyer, Alberta (Jay) Dyer-Tucker, Pat (Shervin) Dill, Dale, Michael, Roseanne, Jacquelyn and Kristy Russell; special friends Jerome Robinson, Gladys Mussenden and family, and the Spanish Point Boys; several other nieces, nephews, cousins and friends in Bermuda, the USA and the UK. So sorry to hear of Stevie, I have great memories of working with him at SKB. He was a good friend and sadly I lost touch with him when I moved to the US for some years. He was wildly funny, had an incomparable work ethic and ran job sites with a firm yet friendly and effective hand. What a guy! My sincere condolences to his entire family.
