There will be no viewing or interment.
She was predeceased by her parents the late Charles and Alice Haggerty of New Jersey. Susan is survived by her brother Robert (Bob) and his wife Christine, nieces and nephews Brian (Jennifer), Megan (Jim) and Kevin (Aliyah) and grand-nieces & nephews Sean, Allison, Gracie, James, Oliver and Wyatt (US), father-in-law and mother-in-law Bernard and Lily Oatley, brother-in-law Alan Oatley (Joy), their children Daniel (Emma), Christian (godson) and Julianne (Bermuda), god-daughter Tyra (US). Special friends Olivia de Frias, Carlton Weller (predeceased) (Bermuda), Marianna Meyers and Larry Martel & Patricia Chiavoni (Patty) (US) and other friends & family both in Bermuda and in US.

It was my privilege to meet Susan about 3 years ago, when she was having significant challenges. Susan was a fighter, and her determination was the key factor in her improvement. My condolences to both the Haggerty and Oatley families: Susan was taken from us too soon. May she sail off into the sunset with her beloved Brian.

It is with a heavy heart that I say goodbye to my dearest friend, Susan. You were more than a friend-you were family, my confidant and many times my laughter in the dark.
Though you are no longer by my side, your spirit lives on in every memory we shared and every smile you brought to my face. I will carry you with me always, in my heart.
Rest peacefully, my dear friend. You are deeply loved and forever missed.

I was so sorry to hear of Sue´s passing. Condolences to her family and loved ones. Sue worked in the Travel Dept at ACE now known as Chubb. I always found Sue to be pleasant, cheerful and accommodating. May she rest in eternal peace.

Susan was my very best friend for about 50 years; we became friends in New Jersey a very long time ago. We maintained our friendship even when she moved to Florida and then to Bermuda. She so loved her husband Brian and I am fortunate that I was able to spend time with her both in Bermuda and when she returned to the United States. There is a very large hole in my heart. I will see you again my very dear friend. I Love you!
