I worked at HM Customs with Tammy for many years from when she commenced her position as a Customs Officer. We all were like family back then and I treasure the joyful memories we had especially when Andrea, her and I travelled to New Jersey. Recently, I ran into Tammy and I had not seen her for a long time; yet when seeing her and communicating with her it was like we still had the same connection. To the family: - Her mother her son and granny including Carla, Ricky and Cory Hill; I know that Loss is hard and sudden loss is even more difficult. One might feel that during the lowest, saddest and most troublesome times in their life that God has walked away BUT The Lord says in his word that he loves you and will never leave you! May God grant you the peace that surpasses all understanding.

Words of Comfort to the entire family,
The pain of loss is never really assuaged by time. What we learn, however, is that the pain will slowly be muted by the memories. That pain still burns like a lingering flame, concealed far below the surface and it can be turned into a raging inferno with a single spark, But, that pain is much less visceral than it once was and shouldering their absence seems much more bearable. The pain will always reside in you as proof that the love we have for them was fierce. It doesn't get easier, it just gets manageable.

It was such a pleasure to work with and become good friends with Tammy. She was always a person full of life, vitality, fun and laughter. I will forever treasure the memories of our "girls" vacation to ATL together. The two of us had so much fun. Also the many boat cruises in the summers as only the Hot Pepper/Bay girls could do it. Her beautiful smile and distinctive voice will be a huge miss to everyone she became friends with, for that I am sure. Aunt Jonelle we know she is safe with her staunch protector Granny Steede.
