The idea of talking about Thomas in the past tense doesn't feel real. The last time I spoke to him was last year around this time when my son passed away. He called me and we reminisced about all the times we've been each other's ear through the ebbs and flows of parenthood, and he reminded me he was always a call away. He and I have had a fair share of long talks and periodic text chains to check on each other over the years. Thomas will always hold a special place in my heart, because we became friends during a really tumultuous time in my life many years ago and he brought so much light, joy, fun, and kindness into my orbit. We had some great adventures! He showed up for me without me having to ask, and I know so many people that have been blessed to know Thomas have similar memories. Thomas is such a benevolent soul! He truly demonstrated agape love.
I want to send a message to his beloved children... I pray that you forever feel his eternal love for each of you as wings that will always be with you as you journey through grief and life. I also, want to send a message to his mom... I know the deep soul ache of mourning a son, and I pray that you feel God's love, comfort, and strength holding you through the mourning today-tomorrow-and always. For all of of Thomas' family and friends... I pray that we hold on to our memories and keep his legacy alive by finding ways to honor him by demonstrating kindness to others as he did for so many.

It was a great shock for me to read in the RG of the passing of Thomas!
On my last visit to Bermuda year before last, Thomas and I talked right outside my old home on Spring Hill!
I considered him my first son because I used to take care of him from birth till he was able to walk!
Every time I come back home to visit I would see him!
I´m back here visiting now, but am so grieved that I´m not going to this time!
It is my prayer that The Most High God replaces your pain with good and happy memories!

I´m so sorry I couldn´t be there in person. I was deeply shaken to hear of Tom´s passing-he was one of my dearest friends, and the news has left a profound sadness in my heart.
Please accept my most sincere condolences during this incredibly difficult time.
Tom was truly one of a kind. His warmth, his laughter, his unforgettable sense of humor, and his generous spirit touched everyone who had the joy of knowing him. He brought light into every room and made a lasting impression on all of us. He will be missed more than words can express-not only by his beloved family but by all of us who were lucky enough to call him a friend.
To his loving mother, devoted brothers, and cherished children-please know that Tom´s memory will forever live on in our hearts. The mark he left on our lives is immeasurable, and the love we hold for him will never fade.
Though he may no longer be with us physically, his spirit and the memories we shared will remain with us always. We will remember him with love, with laughter, and with deep gratitude for having had him in our lives.

Having moved to the UK 5 years ago I am reliant on news from Bermuda via reading RG online or siblings. I read of Thomas's passing and had to send my condolences. I was in the hospitality business for years. In that time, I had the pleasure of meeting Thomas and would like to say he was one of the most Polite and Courteous customers I ever had served. He will be a Miss to everyone who knew him. Rest my friend.

Brethren, this is incredibly hard to process. We´ve known each other for years-every time I stepped foot on the ROCK, you knew it, and the shenanigans would begin. We shared moments at sessions, games, and those impromptu cookouts with Jules and Neicy. We celebrated the birth of your children, and you never missed a chance to clown me about being in the Army.
Man, we truly lived. I´m laughing and crying at the same time just thinking about it. The way we cut up-pure joy. I still remember that random call you made when you found out I was battling breast cancer. Your words were so uplifting, so full of love.
There are so many memories I´ll forever hold close. I´m really going to miss you.

Good morning Pinky and Kevin. Oh My God!!! What happened?!!! I know that it is not my place to ask how / why Thomas has left us - but I am beside myself of the shock. I can hardly breathe. Pinky and Kevin, trust me, you had the BEST SON IN THE WORLD. I am at a loss to adequately describe his character. Thomas is the perfect example of the adage that "only the good die young". I can't type any more - my tears are blinding me and my heart is thumping so hard that I feel as though I may have a heart attack. I was his Sergeant in The Bermuda Regiment and with his good-nature joshing he put me to the "test" on a regular basis while in the Bermuda Regiment = and when he left the Regiment he acknowledged me with every ounce of respect on civi street no matter when and where he encountered me. My heart and unending prayers go out to both of you and Thomas' family. I sign off as "Sarge" as he always addressed me.

Thomas was both my friend and neighbor for over 14 years . He was a good man with a good heart .He called me long distance to enquire about how he could assist a friend to purchase a home. That was his nature , looking out for others and seeing how he could help. He will be missed. I never saw him upset. He was always smiling and had the most pleasant personality. His work spoke for itself . He made his mark on this world and in the lives of so many people . My prayers are with his family and friends at this time .
