I am shocked and so sorry to hear this!! Ms. Pugh (then, Northrup) taught me at Harrington Sound School in the 1970s. She was genuinely one of my favorite teachers of all time! I recall the class visits to her house on South Road, Devonshire (near Ariel Sands). I also still have the letters she wrote to me as a child. She did reach out to me on Facebook, a few months ago, but we never had the chance to meet and catch up. This shows one the value of life and what and what not is a priority.
Rest-in-Peace, Ms. Northrup...I will keep your letters forever...xoxo

Trudi was one of the kindest and dearest friends that I have had the honor of working with and laughing with. The MSA family was all the more special for having her in it and her students were so lucky to have known such a treasure. I know that heaven is lucky to have you just as we were lucky to have you for 70 years. Sending hugs and love to the Pugh and Stecko families. She lives on in each one of you from your smiles to your laughs. Rest in peace my dear friend. I'll miss you and our chats.

Christopher, Meredith and Thomas, my thoughts are with you at this difficult time. You probably wouldn't remember me but I certainly remember each of you. Your mom spoke of you guys so much during class and when we had our personal conversations.
Ms Pugh was one of my favorite teachers at MSA. She went over and beyond to understand me, help me figure myself out and encourage me to be me when I did finally find myself. After I graduated she happily allowed me to drop the Ms Pugh and she became Aunt Trudi. I promised her I'd visit before the holiday. Time slipped away from me and as usual I thought I had more time to make that visit. Im terribly upset that I didn't get to visit and won't get the chance to now.
To Ms Pugh's spirit, thank you so much for belonging to such a wonderful and special person. Knowing Ms Pugh is no longer breathing the air of life is a hard pill to swallow but being grateful in knowing I got to share so many years with her when she did, is beyond a blessing. Fly high Aunt Trudi. Algebra will forever strong with Ms Pugh

So very sad to hear of Mrs. Pugh´s passing. She had the class of `99 as her first Grade 12 home room and I use to tease her saying she was baptized by fire with our group (a class of over 50 students)! She was such a lovely lady. My condolences to her family and friends xo
